Learn more about INTERNAL AIRSOFT

Upgrading the internals is what separates a stock replica from one that actually performs on the field. In airsoft, accuracy comes from the hop-up system — the bucking, the nub and the inner barrel work together to put spin on the BB, and that's almost always the first upgrade worth making. Compression comes next: a matched piston head, nozzle and cylinder set give you consistent FPS shot after shot instead of a 20 FPS spread. Trigger response and rate of fire come last, through the motor, gears and a MOSFET or ETU. What fits depends on your platform — AEG gearboxes (V2, V3) share most components, GBBR internals are built around the bolt and nozzle, and HPA runs on an engine with its own tuning logic. We carry FPS Softair, Maple Leaf, 4UANTUM, GATE, Airtech Studios, Action Army and more, covering everything from a bucking under $20 to a full gearbox rebuild. Not sure what fits your gun or where to start? Contact our team — our in-house technician has opened more gearboxes than most players have played games, and we'd rather point you to the right part than sell you the wrong one.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions about INTERNAL AIRSOFT

Which internal upgrade should I do first?
Start with the hop-up system — bucking, nub and inner barrel. It's the cheapest change and it makes the biggest difference to range and accuracy. Compression and motor upgrades come after.

Do internal parts increase FPS?
Only the spring changes FPS. Hop-up, barrel and compression parts improve consistency, range and accuracy. Always check your field's FPS limit before changing a spring.

Do I need a MOSFET?
If you run an 11.1V LiPo on a stock mechanical trigger, yes — it protects the trigger contacts from arcing and burning out. Many modern AEGs already ship with a factory ETU.

Can you install the parts for me?
Yes. We handle repairs and upgrades in-house at our Berthierville shop. Contact us with your replica and what you're trying to achieve.
