WELL MB01 140 m/s FPS Spring Characteristics
The WELL MB01 140 m/s FPS spring was calibrated on a stock sniper rifle.
Naturally, a shorter or longer barrel will lead to a drop or increase in performance, and thus a tighter or looser calibration.
The thickness due to the spring guide bearings was not taken into account during calibration. Therefore, under equal initial conditions, you should expect a performance increase of approximately 2.5 m/s for each bearing.
The FPS spring is 100% made in Italy and manufactured in collaboration with industry-leading companies. The material used is a blued and pre-tempered carbon steel wire with added silicon and chromium EN10270/2.
Immediately after forming, the spring is stabilized in an oven at 400∘C for thirty minutes to improve its durability.
The spring features variable pitch coils in the central area and where it contacts the spring guide. It undergoes a grinding process on both ends, ensuring optimal performance in compression.
