Product Description

MK5 Thunderflash

The MK5 Thunderflash is a single-shot Thunderflash device (124 dB at 4.5 m). It is operated using a rotating safety cap friction system. Once ignited, the burn time is 6 to 7 seconds; therefore, it must be thrown immediately into a predetermined safe area. The MK5 is constructed of a thick cardboard tube that breaks upon firing, releasing light smoke.

  • Safety Distance: 5 meters

  • Fuse Burn Time: 6 seconds (+/- 0.5 s)

  • Smoke Emission Duration: N/A

  • Noise Level (dB): Single shot detonation at 4.5 meters - Maximum 124 dB

  • Output: Light smoke
